I have been fascinated by advertising since childhood – TV commercials, radio spots, print ads. I imitated them, critiqued them, even re-wrote some. Now as an actor, it’s fun to be in the ads – print, radio, TV, even IVR.
A born and bred New Yorker, privileged to have traveled in 48 of the 50 states and 29 countries on 5 continents, I studied early childhood development at Tufts University, and education administration, planning, and social policy in grad school (you probably never heard of it – starts with an H, rhymes with “starboard”), and worked with schools and families for my first career.
My second career took me to West Africa, where I worked for CARE, and then back to New York to an international NGO. A résumé coaching session led to my third career: executive search, recruiting CEOs and other senior executives for nonprofits worldwide. I continue to take on some assignments, and now as an actor I’m also doing what I love: commercials (TV, radio, print), voiceover, and narration. I have a home recording studio and take classes with Audie Award-winning narrators as well as pros from Broadcasters, Don Buchwald and Associates, Paradigm, Sound Lounge, and others. Recently I have added MC’ing and auctioneering at nonprofit galas to this fourth career. Great causes, great fun – great outfits!

Democracy: Stories from the Long Road to Freedom - Unabridged Audiobook by Condoleezza Rice Narrated by Grace Angela Henry 12 hrs and 54 mins
I was honored to work with Liz W. Garcia, writer and director of One Percent Humid. I played the lawyer, and it was a thrill to attend the premier at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2017.
THE OTHER SIDE OF EVERYTHING - Coming! My narration of The Other Side of Everything, by Linda R. Spitzfaden. Charming, witty, and thoroughly engaging, The Other Side of Everything introduces us to a cast of wonderful characters through the eyes of Piper, publisher of a small town newspaper and new blogger. As Piper grows personally and professionally, she begins to see her family, friends and colleagues with new eyes and renewed heart – and we do, too. The author’s use of the blog is brilliant, allowing the book’s characters to have second identities, some bolder and funnier than they feel they can be off-line. Linda Spitzfaden clearly loves the English language and her use of it is a bibliophile’s delight. Whether you recognize the literary references or not, you will enjoy the witty turn of phrase, the poetic description, and the realism in the dialogue. It’s the first in a series - look for The Other Side of Everything in the summer of 2017! Have a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmvxn_SGf0c
I have a chameleon-like voice that moves fluidly from audiobooks and audiotours to live short story performances to documentary films and commercial voiceovers. Multi-lingual and a trained actor, I engage the listener immediately and am a favorite with the most discerning of audiophiles.
I have performed at the Actors Studio in New York as well as community theatre, and am a popular MC for charity events. I am a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
