I have been fascinated by advertising since childhood – TV commercials, radio spots, print ads. I imitated them, critiqued them, even re-wrote some. Now as an actor, it’s fun to be in the ads – print, radio, TV, even IVR.
A born and bred New Yorker, privileged to have traveled in 48 of the 50 states and 29 countries on 5 continents, I studied early childhood development at Tufts University, and education administration, planning, and social policy in grad school (you probably never heard of it – starts with an H, rhymes with “starboard”), and worked with schools and families for my first career.
My second career took me to West Africa, where I worked for CARE, and then back to New York to an international NGO. A résumé coaching session led to my third career: executive search, recruiting CEOs and other senior executives for nonprofits worldwide. I continue to take on some assignments, and now as an actor I’m also doing what I love: commercials (TV, radio, print), voiceover, and narration. I have a home recording studio and take classes with Audie Award-winning narrators as well as pros from Broadcasters, Don Buchwald and Associates, Paradigm, Sound Lounge, and others. Recently I have added MC’ing and auctioneering at nonprofit galas to this fourth career. Great causes, great fun – great outfits!

I have a chameleon-like voice that moves fluidly from audiobooks and audiotours to live short story performances to documentary films and commercial voiceovers. Multi-lingual and a trained actor, I engage the listener immediately and am a favorite with the most discerning of audiophiles.
I have performed at the Actors Studio in New York as well as community theatre, and am a popular MC for charity events. I am a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
